United, We Can

Building a strong community where all people can thrive depends on your generous support.

CINCINNATI, Ohio (July 2, 2021) – Calvin Davis has joined UWGC’s Middletown Area Center team as Community Health Worker. He will be working with United Way, the Center for Closing the Health Gap, and Ohio State University to plan and implement COVID-19 programming. His work will involve building and maintaining relationships with local agencies and community residents in the Middletown area.

Davis’s connection to the community — born and raised in Middletown — will be a strong asset. He has worked in marketing for Enquirer Media and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and will use that expertise to raise COVID-19 vaccine awareness through various platforms.

United Way is committed to providing access to physical and mental health services for people throughout their lives so that families can thrive.

Davis has a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Miami University. He’s working on obtaining an MBA.

He is the second Community Health Worker hired recently. Joslynn Pretty started work in May.
