CINCINNATI (April 16, 2026) — United Way of Greater Cincinnati is pleased to announce George Vincent as chair of the organization’s Board of Directors. Vincent, a longtime United Way supporter, brings decades of leadership experience to the role.

Vincent was appointed to United Way’s Board of Directors in 2020. He is an Executive Vice President at Kroger and also serves as Kroger’s General Counsel and Secretary. He is the former Managing Partner at Dinsmore & Shohl.
“George Vincent is a trusted leader with deep expertise and a strong commitment to our community,” said Moira Weir, United Way of Greater Cincinnati President and CEO. “He will help guide our work with rigor and purpose as we work alongside partners to expand opportunity and build a stronger future for everyone in our region.”
Vincent assumes the role held by Brian Hodgett of Procter & Gamble since 2024. Last year, under Hodgett and Weir’s leadership, United Way invested more than $40 million in the community.
“I’m honored to step into this role at a time when our community has both real challenges and real opportunities,” said Vincent. “United Way brings people together to create lasting change, and I look forward to working alongside this dedicated Board and our partners to support the organization’s work.”
