United, We Can

Building a strong community where all people can thrive depends on your generous support.

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (Dec. 30, 2021) — United Way of Greater Cincinnati partnered with a New Richmond church and a Newtown-based food pantry to brighten the holiday season for families they serve.

New Richmond Church of God’s community Angel Tree project was able to assist 138 families, thanks in part to a $2,500 grant from United Way. Children enrolled in Angel Tree received $50 worth of gifts and an outfit.

Inter Parish Ministry, which has food pantries in Newtown and Amelia, also received a $2,500 grant from United Way. Those funds helped support IPM’s Christmas Store, held on Dec. 15 and 16 and hosted by Crossroads East Side. More than 425 families in need were able to go on a shopping spree for toys and gifts.
