Our Mini-Grant program provides one-time grants of $2,500 to support small grassroot and faith-based organizations serving our community. These grants are primarily awarded to organizations serving neighborhoods with a high concentration of poverty.
What We Support
Mini-grants can help fund outreach programs such as:
- Food distribution efforts
- Clothing drives or back-to-school events
- Health fairs
- Educational programs and tutoring
- Arts and enrichment programs
- STEM initiatives
Who Is Eligible
- Organization must be a registered 501(c)(3)
- Funding must support a specific program or event (not general operating expenses or capital projects)
- Programs must align with at least one of United Way’s focus areas of educational success, financial empowerment or housing security.
- Organizations that qualify may receive up to one mini-grant per 12-month period
