CINCINNATI (May 5, 2023) — United Way of Greater Cincinnati has announced three additions to its leadership team.

  • Elbert Goode II has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing brand, creative and communications. He brings more than two decades of strategic and creative marketing expertise for iconic brands and new-to-world startups. Goode, who grew up in Cincinnati's Mount Auburn neighborhood, holds an MBA from Ohio State University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kent State University.
  • Alaina Pratt has been appointed Chief Experience Officer, a newly created role that will leverage her expertise connecting operations and strategy to create excellent experiences for United Way stakeholders. She most recently was Senior Vice President of Operations for Empower Media Partners LLC. She has a strong knowledge of a diverse set of practical tools to support organizational processes and structures, employee training and internal communications. She is a Clemson University graduate.
  • Amy Weber, who has been with United Way for more than 10 years in positions of increasing responsibility, has been promoted to Chief Impact Officer. She helped develop United Way's new investment model – unveiled in 2022 – which funds community-driven efforts and partners working together to create solutions to entrenched, decades-old challenges. She also has led efforts to develop United Way's knowledge management and thought-leader initiatives. Weber holds a juris doctorate from Northern Kentucky University's Chase College of Law.
