United Way of Greater Cincinnati is excited to recognize and celebrate the generosity of Cincinnati workplaces that support our fundraising efforts by unveiling our 2022 Workplaces That Care.
In 2022, more than 400 workplaces in our region partnered with United Way. These businesses serve as role models by creating a culture of caring among their employees by empowering and encouraging them to get involved, volunteer and give back to our community.
Workplaces That Care highlights our Top 25 and Tremendous 25 corporate campaigns while also spotlighting the generosity, engagement and creativity of more workplaces through these new categories: Top New Business, Matching Programs, and FUNdraisers*.
“United Way is enormously grateful for the opportunity to connect employees in their workplaces to the causes and issues close to their hearts. Together can we drive the collective impact to tackle our community’s most critical needs.
Thank you to all our corporate partners and congratulations to all our Workplaces That Care awardees!”

“Michelman’s multiyear support of the United Way is an outgrowth of our key corporate value of giving back to the communities in which we live. As our annual giving campaign continues to thrive, we have consistently ranked in the Top 25 contributors since 2019. We are grateful that the United Way provides much-needed and compassionate support to local community members.”

Our Tremendous 25 represents the highest per-capita giving companies with at least 25 employees and 55 percent employee participation. These companies may not be large enough to be in the Top 25, but they and their employees go above and beyond to provide exceptional support for their community.
“Every company wants to develop either great employees or great clients in Greater Cincinnati. United Way works diligently to reach those corners of our population that are underserved in our area. By participating in United Way, we feel that we have an impact on the population that may otherwise be lost or forgotten and take pride in knowing that we are improving outcomes in our community."

We are excited to welcome and celebrate new businesses to our community of supporters every year. This is vitally important, because much of our community impact work happens as a result of corporate supporters who embrace United Way as part of their company culture and who provide sustainable and steady resources to fund our work.
In 2022, Constellation Wealth Advisors joined our family with a targeted investment to help connect communities with financial tools and education.
Matching programs boost participation and encourage team members to exceed fundraising goals. Data reinforces this, as 1 in 3 donors say they would give more if a matching gift were applied to their donation.
These corporations know the value of matching their employees’ philanthropic passions:
** Match amount subject to additonal company-specific qualifications.
These corporate partners ran special fundraising events, such as raffles, auctions, trivia or happy hours, all of which add excitement to employee campaigns. Providing fun options for employees to contribute and participate increases engagement and revenue, which is even more important in the hybrid work world.
