There’s an exciting energy in the air here at United Way of Greater Cincinnati. We hope you feel it in the community too. As we gear up for this year’s annual campaign, we’re committed to creating a community where everyone has an opportunity to thrive. Together, we improve the lives of 365,000 people annually in 10 counties, across three states. Our community needs us now more than ever. No matter the circumstances. No matter the odds.
We officially kick off our 2017 Annual Campaign August 24 at Duke Energy Convention Center. (Space is limited and few spots remain.) We will celebrate our collective impact and announce our 2017 community goal. The campaign is being chaired by Gary T. “Doc” Huffman, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Ohio National Financial Services.
“Giving back is part of the DNA of Ohio National and our entire community. More than 365,000 lives are counting on us to find innovative ways to support the needs of the community. United Way provides the energy and muscle to forge partnerships that create lasting change in Greater Cincinnati,” said Huffman.
Our community is undergoing a renaissance. But some people are getting left behind. There are too many people who don’t have what they need to survive; too many who struggle every day just to make ends meet. United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community. Together we can do more.
Last year more than 90,000 individuals in our community came together to raise $62,115,000. We are a community that cares, and with one-in-three people in Greater Cincinnati struggling to make ends meet, we must help children, families and individuals in poverty, and those who are vulnerable across all income levels.
We are a community of hand raisers and game changers. When we Live United, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.
We hope you’ll join us and be a part of this year’s campaign.
