United Way of Greater Cincinnati kicks off its annual campaign today – three months early – inviting everyone – businesses small and large, both individual donors and foundations – to commit whatever support possible to help the many tri-state families in need. The United Way hopes to raise $10 million by Labor Day – a meaningful start to the goal of raising at least $50 million by the end of 2020.

Regional Nonprofits Receiving $7.2 million from COVID-19 Regional Response Fund

The COVID-19 Regional Response Fund, activated by Greater Cincinnati Foundation and United Way of Greater Cincinnati, raised $7.2 million in emergency relief for over 200 nonprofit organizations that serve the region’s most vulnerable individuals and families. The Fund exceeded its $5 million goal within seven weeks.

COVID-19 Regional Response Fund Supported 22 NKY Nonprofits in Coronavirus Crisis

Twenty-two Northern Kentucky nonprofits have received more than $600,000 so far from the COVID-19 Regional Response Fund to support families and individuals who are suffering from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

United4Cincy Virtual Telethon Raises Nearly $10k for COVID-19 Relief

United for Cincy, a three-hour community telethon, aired live Friday, May 1, and raised nearly $10K for COVID-19 relief in Greater Cincinnati. Funds raised from this event will provide direct support to food assistance applicants as well as assist local social services agencies with urgent needs to stabilize the community.

Procter & Gamble is donating nearly 100,000 non-surgical grade masks and thousands of bottles of sanitizer to Greater Cincinnati social service agencies, teaming with Brain Brew Whiskey of Newtown and United Way of Greater Cincinnati for quick distribution.
