In 2018, United Way of Greater Cincinnati awarded a $212,000 grant to Easterseals' Prosperity for All program, which is dedicated to addressing the individual needs of families working their way out of poverty.
With the investment, Prosperity for All has been able to serve 50 families with job training in industries that offer in-demand jobs, such as logistics and health care, and provide a living wage.
Members of the program like Latasha and Anthony recent shared their stories and explained how the program not only removed barriers, but helped them with valuable life skills so they can accomplish their goals.

According to Easterseals president Pam Green, "Prosperity for All proves that when social services agencies, government, higher education, and employers collaborate, individuals who want to work their way out of poverty can get the support they truly need,” said Green. “And with the United Way’s generous assistance for expansion, not only will we be able to serve more individuals, but also their families.”
