The health of our citizens is a strong indicator of the health of our communities and the County Health Rankings report (released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute) shows Warren and Boone counties among the healthiest in the Greater Cincinnati region.
The Rankings are compiled using county-level measures from a variety of national and state data sources using 25 behavioral, environmental, and social economic factors that influence health. To see where Greater Cincinnati counties ranked, see the release by The Health Collaborative. You can also search for counties or see health rankings nationwide here.
Health is an integral part of the Bold Goals for Our Region – If kids are not healthy, they’ll continually miss school and if adults are frequently ill, they’ll be less likely to hold down a job. Achieving and maintaining good health is important during all stages of life, from prenatal health through childhood to adulthood to later years in life.
