MAKE AN IMPACT

WORKPLACES THAT CARE®

United Way of Greater Cincinnati gratefully recognizes and celebrates the generosity of Greater Cincinnati workplaces and their employees, as well as organizations and corporate groups who volunteer in our community.

WORKPLACES & ORGANIZATIONS

These workplaces empower their employees to get involved, volunteer and give back to our community.

Together in 2024, we raised more than $40 million and mobilized over 8,000 corporate volunteers to promote Educational Success, Financial Empowerment and Housing Security throughout the region.

Workplaces That Care® highlights United Way’s Top 25 and Tremendous 25 corporate campaigns those with the highest total giving and those with highest per-capita giving, respectively in addition to new businesses that recently joined us in our mission to build a thriving community for all.
2024 TOP 25

Our Top 25 partners with the highest giving totals fuel United Way’s impact work through employee and corporate charitable investments. These businesses serve as role models by creating a culture of caring among their employees, leading the way by empowering and encouraging employees to engage, volunteer and contribute to the community.

“At GE Aerospace, one part of our purpose is to lift people up — not only through flight but also in the communities where we live and work — through volunteerism and charitable giving. Our employees are passionate about making a positive impact in our communities, and the United Way of Greater Cincinnati is a great partner in our efforts, helping us identify and meet the greatest needs in our community. When businesses, large and small, collaborate on a shared goal as they do for United Way of Greater Cincinnati, it amplifies the impact.”

We are excited to welcome new businesses to our supporter community every year. Celebrating them is vitally important, as much of our community impact work happens because of corporate supporters who embrace United Way as part of their company culture and who provide sustainable and steady resources to fund our work.

Thank you to our new businesses in 2024:

“We are excited to announce funding to United Way of Greater Cincinnati, focusing on communities in Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton in Northern Kentucky, where many of our associates live. This funding will support key events and programming.”

-Ian Conyers, Amazon Head of Community Affairs

The WOW Award honors a corporate partner for going above and beyond in their commitment to helping neighbors thrive. This year we recognize Meijer for making a strong comeback in local engagement after pausing due to the COVID-19 pandemic—rallying more than 450 retail employees to support United Way.

Whether it’s through their workplace or another organization, thousands of people in our community volunteer their time to make their neighbors’ lives better. We celebrate their contributions each year through the Changemakers Awards, which honors groups with the highest per-capita volunteer hours and impact in various categories. The Grassroots Nonprofit category recognizes an organization that has elevated what it means to lift up its community and neighbors.
