Join The Enquirer and United Way of Greater Cincinnati this #GivingTuesday to help make a family's wish come true.
On Thanksgiving, many of us pause over a meal with family and friends to give thanks for our blessings. Then come Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday – days of wheels and deals dedicated to kicking off the holiday season of … shopping?
But isn’t Thanksgiving supposed to kick off the season of giving?
To get everyone back into the spirit of giving, we have joined Giving Tuesday, an effort that harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners – charities, families, businesses and individuals – to transform how we think, talk about and participate in the giving season.
This year, the effort takes place December 1 – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This Giving Tuesday, all your donations will go toward The Wish List campaign, a partnership between The Enquirer and United Way of Greater Cincinnati.
This year's Wish List campaign will seek to fight child poverty with the funds collected.
Thanksgiving kicks off the season of giving and we want to help reinvigorate the spirit of giving. And we're not just talking about giving money – we’re talking about inspiring action in whatever form that may be. Together, we can help families around the tristate have one less thing to worry about this holiday season.
