About Black Empowerment Works

United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s Black Empowerment Works program promotes Black self-determination, social mobility and economic prosperity by resourcing and funding grassroots-generated, Black-led ideas, programs and projects.

CINCINNATI (March 30, 2023) — Now in its third year, United Way’s Black Empowerment Works program has provided $3 million in grants and other resources to support more equitable futures.
