Parent Resource Center Builds Community Among Middletown Parents

A new United Way partner agency, the Community Building Institute’s Parent Resource Center initially opened in 2010 through the Place Matters initiative. The Center was created in response to the concern that Middletown's Douglas Park parents lacked access to quality early childcare, a myriad of parenting skills, and a connection to resources.

TEAM FAFSA Pilot Assists Local Students

United Way of Greater Cincinnati and multiple community partners have launched a pilot project to help low-income families--TEAM-FAFSA. It’s designed to help students and families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a critical step in making post-secondary education a reality for low-income and first generation students.
