Want to announce a draft pick live from the stage on day three of the 2017 NFL Draft in Philadelphia!? This is your chance.
This past fall, United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Bengals teamed up to launch Character Playbook, a digital learning initiative focused on teaching students how to cultivate and maintain healthy relationships during their critical middle school years. The initiative was launched nationally by United Way Worldwide and the National Football League during the 2016 NFL Draft and is powered by education leader EverFi.
This year, United Way and the NFL have partnered to give one fan "The Ultimate Draft Day Experience." A $10 donation will enter you in the contest. Funds raised from this sweepstakes opportunity will be used to advance the NFL and United Way's collective work around character education, including Character Playbook. Click here to enter!
Since the launch of Character Playbook in Greater Cincinnati on November 29 at Riverview East Academy, four other schools have begun using the program. Currently 241 local students have participated in the program with 1,152 lessons completed.
In addition to Riverview East Academy, other participating schools are: Bethel-Tate Middle School, Williamsburg Middle School, Grant County Middle School, and Clermont Northeastern Middle School. In the next month, the program will expand to an additional 10 middle schools locally.
