  • Maintain and expand refundable Earned Income Tax Credits
  • Support funding, improvement and alignment of job training programs
  • Ensure workforce training programs align with employer needs and help people obtain industry-specific credentials and career pathway advancement
  • Focus workforce training on priority industry sectors
  • Develop work-readiness certification through implementation of the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
  • Reduce barriers for people with criminal records to reenter the workforce
  • Support alignment of family supports, work supports and financial education along career pathways
