BoardBank is a United Way program that provides assistance to nonprofit organizations seeking talented, passionate and dedicated individuals to serve on their respective boards.
Are you interested in filling board or committee positions with new diverse talent?
More than 100 agencies in our region are currently taking advantage of this service and use it as an alternative avenue to recruit new board or committee members. Simply complete an Agency Application to begin participating in BoardBank. Once we receive your completed application we will begin referring qualified individuals that show passion towards your particular mission. Please note that no referrals will be made without a completed BoardBank application.
Are you interested in advancing the greater good and giving back to your community through joining a nonprofit board or committee in the Greater Cincinnati Region? If you have previous nonprofit leadership experience or have served on a board or committee in the past, please complete a Candidate Application. This will add your name to a list of volunteers interested in serving on a board or committee of a not-for-profit organization. Agency needs are matched with skills and interests of potential leadership volunteers. BoardBank eligibility will be determined based on applicant's current level of experience and qualifications. Last year BoardBank helped to placed 50-plus new board members throughout the Greater Cincinnati Region.

If you do not have previous nonprofit leadership experience or have not served on a board or committee in the past, please consider participating in our BOLD (Board Orientation & Leadership Development) program. BOLD is a six week interactive training session that covers board and committee membership best practices. To find out more information about BOLD please visit uwgc.org/BOLD.
