Ethicon Endo-Surgery at RedwoodCommunity Care Days

Give an hour. Give a Saturday. Give a Wednesday afternoon. Stay local. Or experience a new part of town. No matter when or where your company participates, coming together to volunteer is one of the best ways to connect heads, hearts and hands around United Way's work to create lasting change.

Last year 5,500 volunteers from 170 companies completed more than 500 projects, stretching local agencies' resources further. Along the way they built teamwork, gained leadership skills, and earned recognition for their organization's commitment to advancing the common good.

Join us this year!

Bring your group together today, find a project and we'll get you started living united! Community Care Days is United Way of Greater Cincinnati's invitation to companies and organizations to volunteer in their communities and advance the common good.

  • If you're a past Community Care participant, be one of 50 companies accepting the challenge to double the number of projects your complete.
  • Join the fun - we're looking for 50 new participating companies in 2010.

How to get involved

Benefits of participating

  • You will join the growing number of companies and organizations helping to make lasting change in our community.
  • Employees can volunteer for projects that change people's lives by landscaping, repairing or painting an agency, creating a Web site, or planning an event for kids or older adults.
  • Volunteering can help employees see first-hand how United Way dollars are helping ensure children are prepared for school and life and all families and individuals are safe, healthy and financially stable.
  • Coordinating a group volunteer project is an excellent opportunity for an employee to develop his or her leadership skills.
  • It offers a positive opportunity away from the office that promotes teamwork and makes our community better - all in one day!
