United Way Women's Leadership Council
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a powerful, passionate network of women who strengthen our community through focused investment of their time, talent and resources.
Our Focus
The focus of the Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) is to make an impact on our community in the area of women's self-sufficiency.
Empowering Women
The WLC supports a full spectrum of women’s self-sufficiency issues – from mentoring programs at Gardens at Greenup, to addressing such issues as placement of women on for-profit boards.
