Channeling Influence into Action
Tocqueville members are a generous group of successful, philanthropic leaders who support United Way and our community at an outstanding level. They are some of our region’s most influential business and civic leaders who are a making difference in the lives of people who need it most.
Inspired by Alexis de Tocqueville, a French political philosopher who famously admired American philanthropy, United Way’s Tocqueville supporters embody the same generous American spirit that Tocqueville fell in love with nearly 200 years ago.
HOW WE UNIFY AND LEVERAGE THE INFLUENCE OF OUR MEMBERS
Tocqueville members in Greater Cincinnati make up one of the largest Tocqueville chapters in the country, collectively giving more than $13 million each year.
Tocqueville members enjoy meeting other philanthropic leaders at signature events such as cocktail receptions, luncheons and educational forums. Each exclusive event is designed to give members an engaging, up-close look at how your investment is changing lives. When Tocqueville members meet, they create a powerful force of good.
Gain additional meaningful and memorable opportunities to connect when the Women of Tocqueville gather to deepen engagement with United Way and our community.
Special events include: First Tuesday Luncheons, Tocqueville Connect Forums, exclusive gatherings for Women of Tocqueville and more.
